Western Canadian Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC) had issues recruiting new employees. Part of the problem lied with the lack of compelling information available for potential employees.
Those entering the marine industry were much more likely to work with names in the commercial sector than emergency response, despite clear benefits for the latter. WCMRC needed to increase awareness of the benefits available at WCMRC. Working alongside a team as the senior copywriter, I helped execute a hiring and awareness campaign through web content and the social media channels available to us, LinkedIn and Twitter.
